The Vanderbilt women’s basketball team beat VCU 90-81 on Thursday behind 29 points from Koi Love (who is, in fact, very good) and 18 from Brylee Bartram. That was the Commodores’ third win in a row, and this one was over a team that won 20 games last season. They’ll play again on Sunday against Gardner-Webb.
Meanwhile, the men’s team has added a nonconference game. They will host Alcorn State at 3 PM CT on the 27th, three days before the SEC opener.
