Anchor Drop, December 17, 2018: Deuce Wallace Back in Practice

Related Topics: Allan Walters

Good morning.

Per VandySports.com, backup quarterback Deuce Wallace has returned to practice ahead of the Texas Bowl. Wallace had been suspended from the university for the fall semester, which ended last week.

It’s currently unknown whether Wallace will be cleared to play in the Texas Bowl, which is on December 27. At the very least, though, Wallace will get a few practices under his belt prior to the spring. Wallace will compete with Allan Walters and incoming freshman Jamil Muhammad to replace Kyle Shurmur in 2019.
