Vanderbilt continued to build on what easily could be coach Derek Mason’s strongest recruiting class with the commitment late last week from four-star wide receiver Camron Johnson.
Johnson is one of two four-star commitments for the Commodores; the other is linebacker Alston Orji. Going by their 247Sports consensus recruiting ranking, they would be two of the top six signees for the Commodores this decade.
“A couple weeks ago, I went out to Vanderbilt just for the day to hang out,” Johnson told GN regarding what led him to choose Vanderbilt. “We had lunch with the coaches and got a full tour of the school.
