3-star offensive lineman Wyatt Smock picks Vanderbilt: ‘A 40-year decision’

The Vanderbilt Commodores continue to remain red hot on the recruiting trail, adding a commitment from three-star offensive lineman Wyatt Smock Wednesday afternoon.

“Vanderbilt had the best in mind for me,” Smock told GN. “The best coaches and the best for me after football. This is a 40-year decision.”

Smock (6-feet-4, 290 pounds), from Louisville St. Xavier, is considered to be among the top 45 offensive guard prospects in the nation and is a top-five overall talent in Kentucky for the class of 2018.

Smock chose Vanderbilt over offers from Arkansas, Louisville, Purdue, Wake Forest and many others.
