2019 Sierra Canyon (CA) PF Kenyon Martin Jr. Commits to Vanderbilt

At the very least, the fathers of two of Vanderbilt’s basketball players (and its head coach) next season can play.

Kenyon Martin Jr., the 6’6”, 195-pound power forward from Sierra Canyon High School in Chatsworth, CA — also the high school of signee Scotty Pippen Jr. — announced via Twitter on Sunday that he will play basketball for Vanderbilt next season. Martin announced a top four of Vanderbilt, UCLA, TCU, and West Virginia a couple of weeks ago; an impressive list, and one that includes teams coached by his father’s college head coach (Bob Huggins) and assistant coach (Mick Cronin.
