The Vancouver Whitecaps finished up their MLS SuperDraft on Tuesday, selecting forwards Jorge Gomez Sanchez and Nazeem Bartman in the third and fourth rounds. respectively.
Bartman (insert your own Simpsons-pun here) is listed at 5’7 and 160 lbs, and comes from the University of Florida, originally hailing from Cape Town, South Africa. While little may be expected of a fourth round MLS draft pick, it seems Bartman comes with some upside. In fact, Top Drawer Soccer called him ‘The next Dom Dwyer’ last July.
