VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Tuesday that the club will hold its third annual charity alumni match on Saturday, September 16 at BC Place. The alumni match will take place from 1:45 p.m. PT to 2:45 p.m. PT ahead of Vancouver’s Major League Soccer match against Columbus Crew SC, which kicks off at 4 p.m. PT.
Alumni from all eras of the club’s 43-year-history will take part in the match, including MLS fan favourites Jay DeMerit, Robert Earnshaw, and Young Pyo-Lee, as well as some celebrity guests. Stay tuned for the full roster announcement.
