CHICAGO, IL – Vancouver Whitecaps FC selected Georgetown University centre back Brendan McDonough in the second round (35th overall) of the 2019 MLS SuperDraft on Friday.

  • Two-year captain helped the Hoyas to three Big East Tournament titles in his four years
  • Named to the USC All-East Region Second Team and the All-Big East Conference Second Team as a senior
  • Spent junior year of high school in Germany with FT Braunschweig and Eintracht Braunschweig
