Vancouver Whitecaps FC Residency begin their 2017-18 Development Academy season on Saturday when they host Portland Timbers academy teams at the Whitecaps FC National Soccer Development Centre (NSDC) turf field at UBC.
As the club gets set for the action, here are a few changes to note:
NEW HOME
The Residency program is now under the same roof as the first team, the brand new WFC NSDC, where the young 'Caps train throughout the week and play their home matches. A majority of players are attending University Hill Secondary School, conveniently located across the street from the new facility.
