HONOLULU, HAWAII – After a 4-0 win over J1 League side Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo in Tuesday’s pre-tournament friendly, Vancouver Whitecaps FC open the Pacific Rim Cup on Thursday against Japanese club Iwaki FC.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. PT (5 p.m. local) at Aloha Stadium. The match will be streamed live on the Whitecaps FC Facebook page.
Should Whitecaps FC defeat Iwaki FC on Thursday, they would then face either Columbus Crew SC or Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo in the championship match on Saturday at 9 p.m. PT. In the event of a loss, they would play in the third-place match at 6 p.
