COMMERCE CITY, CO – Vancouver Whitecaps (8W-10L-6D) concluded a grueling three-match road trip with a 2-0 defeat against Colorado Rapids (11W-3L-8D) at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Saturday.
Head coach Carl Robinson made three changes from last weekend’s match in Dallas. Canadian international David Edgar made his MLS debut, coming in at centre back and sliding Tim Parker over to right back in place of Cole Seiler. Newcomer Giles Barnes also made his ‘Caps debut, coming in for Masato Kudo at striker, while Cristian Techera returned to the starting lineup in place of Blas Pérez, moving Pedro Morales into the middle.
