VANCOUVER, BC – With Saturday night’s 1-0 win over Sporting Kansas City, Vancouver Whitecaps FC officially clinched a berth in the 2017 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs. This is the third time in four seasons that Whitecaps FC have made the playoffs under head coach Carl Robinson.
“We’re excited to take Vancouver into the playoffs, but we know that there is still plenty of work to be done,” said Whitecaps FC president Bob Lenarduzzi. “We have a team with grit and character that this city can really get behind and be proud of, and we’re going to need everyone behind us to make this season something special.
