Whitecaps FC acquire allocation money from Columbus Crew SC in exchange for goalkeeper Evan Bush

VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Monday the club has acquired $125,000 in General Allocation Money from Columbus Crew SC in exchange for goalkeeper Evan Bush. Vancouver will retain a portion of Bush’s 2021 salary budget charge. This transaction was part of Major League Soccer’s half-day trade window on Sunday.

“Evan was only with us for a short period of time; however, we are very thankful for his contributions. He arrived in Portland at the end of September and helped us in a very unique season where we had to use six different goalkeepers on our match day rosters,” said Axel Schuster, Whitecaps FC CEO and sporting director.
