Whitecaps FC Academy forward Frixos Petsas has been called up again to the Cyprus U-17 national team for 2020 UEFA U-17 European Championship qualifying.
This is the third call-up for Petsas this year. The ‘Caps striker was previously called up for the Belkin Cup in August, where he scored two goals versus Croatia, as well as a call-up for two friendly victories over Armenia in September. Petsas is the only player for Cyprus called in from outside of Europe.
Cyrpus are in Group 5 and are hosting this round of qualifying at GSZ Stadium in Larnaca, Cyprus.
