SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – Whitecaps FC 2 fell to San Antonio FC 1-0 in an inspired effort at Toyota Field on Wednesday evening.

SAFC opened the scoring in the 14th minute and didn’t look back. Kris Tyrpak took a Greg Cochrane cross and made no mistake putting his header just over the outstretched hand of ‘Caps goalkeeper Sean Melvin.
