A disappointing end to a surprising season for the Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2, as they fell 3-0 to the Swope Park Rangers on Saturday night in the Western Conference Final of the USL Cup playoffs. An ugly match to end the season, but fans shouldn’t let the match sour what was otherwise an unbelievable year for the second-year USL team. They were among the worst teams in the USL last season, and they were able to make a run all the way to the Western Final this year; That’s a huge improvement, and bodes well for the future of this club under Head Coach Alan Koch.
