Veteran Striker Robert Earnshaw Retires

After a stint with the Vancouver Whitecaps last season, Robert Earnshaw is ready to hang up his boots. The Veteran forward, who's played in Europe as well as MLS, penned an open letter to fans explaining his decision. It's actually a really good read, and must have been very emotional for Earnsahw to write.

The 34 year old started his professional career in 1998, and ended up playing for Cardiff City, Greenock Morton, West Brom, Norwich City, Derby, Nottingham Forest, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Toronto FC, Blackpool, Chicago Fire, and, finally, Vancouver.
