For the second straight year, a waiting list of over 40 teams has been assembled for the popular Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2016 Adidas Cup presented by Sport Chek. The tournament will take place this coming weekend, on April 2 & 3, and will see over 2,000 players from 160 boys & girls teams (U-9 to U-12) descending upon Newton Athletic Park in Surrey, British Columbia.
Teams from the Lower Mainland, Thompson Okanagan, Kootenays, Vancouver Island, Northern BC , Sea-to-Sky Corridor, Sunshine Coast, Alberta, and Saskatchewan will all play a minimum of four games against teams of similar age and skill level.
