USL suspends Myer Bevan three matches

The United Soccer League announced on Wednesday that they have handed Whitecaps FC 2 striker Myer Bevan a three-match suspension after receiving a red card for violent conduct against Seattle Sounders FC 2 this past Sunday, August 13.

The incident occurred in the 84th minute of play.

Bevan will miss WFC2's matches against Rio Grande Valley FC on Saturday, August 19, San Antonio FC on Wednesday, August 23, and LA Galaxy II on Sunday, August 27.

Following these matches, he will depart to join New Zealand's national team for his first senior call-up as the Kiwis play the Solomon Islands in 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying.
