A few days ago, rumors began to surface that Vancouver Whitecaps starting centerback Tim Parker could be on his way to New York Red Bulls, with former Montreal Impact Felipe Martins and/or allocation money coming back to the Vancouver Whitecaps.
At first, the suggestion that Parker might be moved was absurd to most fans. As is common at this point in the season, rumors are plentiful and are often quickly dismissed; even when the team accidentally releases a highlight video of an unsigned player.
