VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC confirmed on Monday that centre back Tim Parker has been called up to the United States senior men's national team 30-man roster for their upcoming camp and friendly this month.
Parker will be in Southern California from January 10 through 29, with the 17-day camp set to begin on January 11. Also on the slate is a friendly against Bosnia and Herzegovina on January 28. Both the camp and the international fixture will be at StubHub Center in Carson.
As a result, the 2017 Jock MacDonald Unsung Hero awardee will miss the early part of the 'Caps training camp, as they begin preseason from January 22 to 31 in Vancouver.
