VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC confirmed on Friday that centre back Roberto Domínguez has been called up to the El Salvador men’s national team for upcoming matches matches against Bermuda and Haiti.
El Salvador will face Bermuda on Friday, November 16 in a Concacaf Nations League Qualifying match at the National Sports Centre in Hamilton, Bermuda. Dominguez will then remain with the national team for a friendly versus Haiti on Tuesday, November 20 at Estadio Cuscatlán, the national team's home ground in San Salvador.
At stake in the 2018-19 Concacaf Nations League Qualifying is a spot in the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup, as well as the classification groups in Concacaf Nations League.
