FRISCO, TX – Vancouver Whitecaps FC (4-5-4) fought back for a resilient 2-2 draw against FC Dallas (4-1-5) on a scorching Saturday afternoon at Toyota Stadium.
After trailing 2-0 with just over 10 minutes to go, the 'Caps battled back to earn a point with the tying goal coming 10 minutes into stoppage time.
Head coach Carl Robinson made five changes from Wednesday’s 2-2 draw against San Jose Earthquakes. Fullbacks Jake Nerwinski and Brett Levis came in for Sean Franklin and Marcel de Jong, Russell Teibert stepped in for Efraín Juárez in central midfield, and wingers Bernie Ibini and Brek Shea replaced Cristian Techera and Alphonso Davies.
