Whitecaps FC Residency were on the road over the weekend, traveling across the border to take on Crossfire Premier in Development Academy action.
U-19
In a competitive match between the top two teams in the division, the ‘Caps ended in a 3-3 draw against the Crossfire.
Jose Hernandez opened the scoring, on an assist from Gabriel Escobar in the 15th minute. Crossfire then scored twice to take the lead, but a 71st minute free kick from Michael Baldisimo leveled the match again.
The home side then took the lead once more, but after a red card to Crossfire, Hernandez scored a second goal in the final five minutes to end the match at 3-3.
