Whitecaps FC Residency continued their Development Academy season on the weekend with a pair of road matches in California against San Diego Surf and Nomads SC. Back home, the U-14s took on an older Fraser Valley Premier boys team.

The U-19s opened their road swing with a 1-0 victory.
The winning goal came off the foot of striker Jefferson Alade, who calmly finished a great build-up from Andres Charles-Barrera to Noah Verhoven to Simon Stacey, who split two defenders with a pass to Alade for the goal.
