Whitecaps FC Residency played a friendly against PDL side TSS FC Rovers on Sunday at Swangard Stadium as they prepare for the Academy Playoffs at the end of June.
The ‘Caps featured a mixture of U-18 and U-16 players and were up 1-0 at halftime on a header goal from striker Theo Bair.
TSS came back strong in the second half with goals from Kristian Yli-Hietanen, as well as former Whitecaps FC Residency players Zach Verhoven and Matteo Polisi. The first came on a cross, the second on a solo effort, and the third on a penalty kick.
