On the heels of back to back home defeats, Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced Tuesday morning the release of manager Carl Robinson, assistant coach Martyn Pert and goalkeeper coach Stewart Kerr effective immediately.
It was announced that Whitecaps FC Academy coach Craig Dalrymple will step in as caretaker manager for the remainder of the season, with the search for a new manager already underway.
Speaking on the announcement, club president Bob Lenarduzzi said “We have a lot of respect and appreciation for Carl and his team, and are thankful for the contributions they have made to this club.
