Montero, who scored the first-ever goal for Seattle in Major League Soccer and remains their all-time leading goalscorer, has been a massive part of Vancouver’s success this season. The Colombian striker has a team-leading 13 goals, which matches his career-high in MLS, including seven goals in his last eight starts.
And on Wednesday, he’ll be looking to help the Western Conference-leading ‘Caps clinch a playoff spot and bring “three points back to Canada,” as he wrote in a candid article in The Players' Tribune today.
