Kamara scores again as 'Caps fall 2-1 to FC Dallas at BC Place

VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC (11W-11L-7D) fell 2-1 to FC Dallas (15W-6L-8D) on Sunday afternoon in a hotly-contested Western Conference tilt at BC Place.

Kei Kamara provided the scoring for Vancouver, recording his team-leading 13th goal of the season in the 66th minute after some individual brilliance from Alphonso Davies. But it wasn’t enough, as Dallas emerged victorious and moved into first-place in the Western Conference thanks to a pair of set-piece goals at the end of each half.

The ‘Caps had their chances in this one, and Davies was front and centre.

In the 19th minute, the 17-year-old blew by FC Dallas left back Marquinhos Pedroso and cut it back to Kamara, whose acrobatic bicycle attempt struck the hand of Victor Ulloa.
