Over the next week four Whitecaps FC Homegrown players will join in the club’s Live Skills Clinics at 2 p.m. PT.
It wasn’t long ago that they too were playing in their local clubs, aspiring to start a professional career. Now they are keen to connect with the next generation of young players.
Facchineri, 17, signed with the ‘Caps in January. The native of Windsor, Ontario played in his youth with Windsor Ciociaro SC, Windsor FC Nationals, and Vardar SC before joining the Whitecaps FC Academy in 2018. Facchineri represented Canada at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil.
