It’s been a whirlwind year for Alphonso Davies – and it’s not done yet.
The 16-year-old scored for Canada’s U-17 men’s national team in a 3-0 win over Jamaica’s U-17s on Sunday afternoon in Kingston, Jamaica. Davies found the back of the net late in the first half in what the Jamaica Observer described as a “prized moment” for the small crowd.
“Davies made a brilliant run by dispatching four defenders before beating the Jamaican goalkeeper at his near post to polish off his glorious solo in style.
