‘Caps plant Goals For Trees in Stanley Park

Theo Bair, Maxime Crépeau, Carl Valentine and Spike visited Stanley Park on Wednesday to celebrate planting 3,700 new trees on behalf of Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

Goals For Trees is an initiative established by Whitecaps FC, Husqvarna and One Tree Planted, where 100 trees are planted for every goal scored each season. The ‘Caps scored 37 goals in 2019 – including Bair’s incredible volley against the Portland Timbers on August 19, which was nominated for MLS Goal of the Year.

Since the start of Goals For Trees in 2016, more than 30,000 new trees have been planted across Canada.
