LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL – The 'Caps U-17 academy boys - part of the Whitecaps FC BMO Academy System - played to a 1-1 draw against New York City FC on Sunday in their third match of the Development Academy Winter Showcase.
Powell River's Caleb Vallance opened the scoring in the 19th minute before NYCFC equalized in the 71st minute.
