VANCOUVER, BC – The Whitecaps FC Girls Elite REX program, in partnership with BC Soccer, will be sending 11 players to play for major NCAA school programs.
The Class of 2019 girls, coming through the Whitecaps FC BMO Academy System, have earned more than $2.7 million in four-year scholarships. Since 2015, ‘Caps program graduates have received nearly $19 million in scholarships.
"We are very proud of these girls and their accomplishments," said Rhian Wilkinson, Whitecaps FC Girls Elite REX head coach. "Whitecaps FC are one of the most committed clubs in North America to women's youth development, and these players are great examples of what hard work can achieve.
