OCEANSIDE, CA – Vancouver Whitecaps FC U-17 Residency fought back for a late 1-1 comeback versus Orlando City SC in their second match of the Academy Playoffs on Thursday.
Orlando scored the first goal 10 minutes into the match. The match intensified with a red card shown to each team in the final 15 minutes. But the 'Caps would not give up as Keisean Brooks scored in the final minute to rescue a result.
Unfortunately for the U-17 'Caps, a 2-0 win by Barca Academy AZ over Philadelphia Union in the other group match eliminated them from contention to advance to the quarterfinals.
