With a number of new players stepping in to this year’s Whitecaps FC U-16 Residency team, head coach Adam Day was uncertain what he would get from his group.
“Honestly, there were a lot of question marks. We only had a handful of returning players, so we didn’t really have any idea," tells Day.
"But we knew we would be a better team in December than we were in August, and we knew that we would be a better team in June than we were in December.
