On Friday, the sixth annual Whitecaps FC Showcase presented by Sport Chek begins.
In what has become Canada’s top professional club showcase and one of the largest events of its kind in North America, more than 140 university scouts will descend upon Surrey’s Newton Athletic Park to watch 110 elite U-15 to U-18 boys and girls teams from eight provinces across Canada, as well as teams from the United States, and even Brazil. In total, more than 2,000 players will be participating.
Recognizable NCAA schools will be present from every major Division I conference, including the Pac 12, Big 10, Big 12, ACC, SEC, and Ivy League.
