Puck wizard Nils Hoglander has been one of the more exciting story lines of the Vancouver Canucks’ training camp this past week. He has flourished while being consistently paired with Bo Horvat throughout the camp. As such, there exists now the consensus opinion that he has proven himself worthy of a role in the team’s top six to start the 2020-21 NHL season. The team’s closest observers this week have raved about his performance at camp thus far. Since his selection by the Canucks, 40th overall, in the 2019 NHL Draft, he has piqued everybody’s interest with his play in the Swedish Hockey League and in international play.
