The Vancouver Canucks may not have a wide following in the United States, but there was a time when they were among the NHL’s elite, and at the center of nationally televised games on both sides of the border.
But things have changed throughout the years, and let’s just say the Canucks are no longer that appealing to watch outside of their own market. As pointed out by Greg Wyshynski of ESPN, the Canucks and Ottawa Senators won’t appear on any games televised by NBC in 2018-19.
The only two teams without a game on the NBC schedule for the 2018-19, barring an unforeseen flex: Ottawa and Vancouver.
