Overall, Tyler Myers brings the physicality that Vancouver Canucks GM Jim Benning has been craving on the blueline for some time. With several players tested in that role, it is clear that he feels confident in Myers’ ability to fulfill that need. He also brings strong defensive play and to an extent some offensive production, though, I don’t think this will be heavily required of him.
Think of a bigger, stronger Chris Tanev with a bit more offence and a lot more health. With that being said, let’s dig into potential partners.
