The Vancouver Canucks shrugged off an ugly California road trip and frustrating two-game homestand by sweeping the state of Pennsylvania — highlighted by a 5-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins last Wednesday.
Though they fell to the New Jersey Devils on Friday night, the Canucks were able to get a point against the red-hot New York Rangers, bringing their point total up to five on this tough road trip. They now sit at 11-9-4 on the season, and are five just five points behind the Vegas Golden Knights — who are long overdue to regress — for first in the Pacific Division.
