The Vancouver Canucks proved once again that they are finding their legs, after a spirited Week 15 marked by a brawl and not just one but two overtime wins. Bo Horvat is on fire with six goals and nine points in the past six games as last week’s team scoring leader, and is poised to set the entire East Coast aflame.
But there the Canucks lie, 23rd in league standings, tied with Nashville, Philadelphia, and San Jose. Of those four tied at 46 points, Vancouver has played the highest number of games. To make matters worse, all four opponents this week are above the Canucks in the standings, ranging from as low as 18th to as high as seventh.
