Vancouver Canucks centre Elias Pettersson is coming off a superb rookie season in which he led the team with 28 goals and 66 points — winning the Calder Trophy by a fairly large margin.
The Canucks will be leaning heavily on Pettersson to try and get them back into the postseason for the first time since 2015. Maturity and experience will obviously lead to a more productive year for Pettersson, as will an upgraded roster six that should see J.T. Miller or Micheal Ferland join him and Brock Boeser on the top line.
