Vancouver Canucks fans received exciting news this week. The Northeastern Huskies were eliminated from the NCAA playoff tournament. Yesterday, we got confirmation that Adam Gaudette signed with the team.
Gaudette is expected to practice with the Canucks tomorrow and could appear in Thursday’s game, according to Rick Dhaliwal. As soon as Gaudette plays a game, he will burn the first year of his entry-level deal, similar to Brock Boeser. Keep in mind, Gaudette will not be able to play with Utica in the playoffs after the Canucks end their season.
Also, if the next expansion draft is in 2020, Gaudette will need to be protected.
