The Vancouver Canucks missed the playoffs for a fourth straight year, but we certainly learned a lot from this group in an up-and-down 2018-19 season.
For the first time in four years, the Canucks actually found themselves in the playoff race heading into the month of March. But injuries, poorly-timed slumps from key players and a lack of secondary scoring held Vancouver out of the big dance.
But of course, there was a lot to love here on the west coast. Elias Pettersson should win with the Calder Trophy. Bo Horvat had a career season and looks ready to eventually take over as the captain.
