In case you missed it, hockey Twitter is currently experiencing an apocalypse after the Edmonton Oilers traded Taylor Hall to the New Jersey Devils for Adam Larsson, and the Montreal Canadiens dealt P.K. Subban to the Nashville Predators for Shea Weber. On a side note, TSN insider Bob McKenzie also broke the news that the Steven Stamkos sweepstakes are over before they even started.
This makes me sad. Not because Stamkos won’t be a Canuck, but because 12 months of speculation come to an end like this.
On the bright side, this was probably the craziest half hour of NHL history, including the worst one-for-one trade in NHL history.
