It does not get any better for Vancouver Canucks forward Ryan Spooner as he prepares for his debut on Thursday night.
The newly acquired forward will start at left wing on the second line with center Elias Pettersson and right wing Brock Boeser on Thursday in a crucial match with the Arizona Coyotes. At 59 points each, both squads are two points back of the final Wild Card playoff spot in the Western Conference. Spooner was traded to Vancouver on Feb. 16 by the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for center Sam Gagner.
