It’s been six months since the Vancouver Canucks last played a regular season game, but the wait will end on Saturday when they welcome the Edmonton Oilers — who many are hyping as Canada’s best shot at winning the Stanley Cup.
The Canucks once again tried to rebuild while also remaining somewhat competitive. Brock Boeser and Jake Virtanen are set to make the roster, but general manager Jim Benning also added veterans like Sam Gagner, Michael Del Zotto and Thomas Vanek to fix the anemic offence.
