The Vancouver Canucks are nearing the end of their bye week, as they prepare for a tilt against the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday. But that’s far from the only intriguing storyline on the west coast right now.
As the Canucks continue to slide in the standings, it’s obvious they’ll have to sell at the trade deadline. There are two names who are expected to get traded – sniper Thomas Vanek and big defenceman Erik Gudbranson.
