Vancouver Canucks prospect Jett Woo not only has the coolest name in hockey, but he can now add another feat to his resumé — member of the Calgary Hitmen. As per Sportsnet’s Joey Kenward, the Hitmen acquired Woo from the Moose Jaw Warriors, right before the WHL Bantam draft.
The trade for Woo wasn’t the only one to go down at the Bantam draft, as the Winnipeg Ice, Prince George Cougars, Saskatoon Blades, and Kelowna Rockets all made trades ahead of the draft.
Woo was acquired for Calgary’s first-round pick — which sits at the 11th overall spot — along with Vladislav Yeryomenko, Ryder Korczak & a 2nd Round pick in the 2021 WHL draft.
